Second reflection on Said

As I continued to read Said I started to see it a little differently. I definitely still felt like I was reading a paper that a college student wrote for their final thesis or a teacher who was trying to inform their students on a certain topic. However, before I said that he is very unbiased and just giving facts. I thought it was not argumentative. In reading it the second time. It felt like he was using evidence from these two guys who supported how he thinks the orient should be represented. It feels that it may seem like he is just stating the facts, but to me it seems like he is stating facts about people who support his view and he is just analyzing them. I feel like my understanding only changed a little bit. It is a very confusing and hard to understand text. He is very analytical and he is very in-depth about his analysis. I truly find it interesting how with all the other writers on this topic it tends to be very similar, but with Said it tends to be totally different.
