One of the things that was brought to my attention was in the movie why was the old prince or the blind man at first a different skin tone than the rest of the people. At the beginning of the movie it shows all the people and they seem to have a darker skin tone. The good man with his dog has a lighter skin tone than everyone else. Was this because he was the good guy and they were trying to get him to look like a american. Also, the princess who he fell in love with also seemed to have a lighter color of skin.

Why did they have lighter skin? Was it because they wanted them to be seen differently? And is that different in a bad way? Making white people look better than people of western civilization. It just makes no sense to me why the two main characters were all different than everyone else.
